When struggling songwriter Dave Seville opens his home to a talented trio of chipmunks named Alvin, Simon and Theodore, they become overnight music sensations. But a greedy record producer intends to exploit the "boys" and send them on a grueling concert tour just to line his own pockets. Now Dave must use a little human ingenuity - and a lot of 'munk mischief-to get his family back before it's too late! Already adored by generation of fans around the world, Alvin and the Chipmunks have plenty to sing about in their big-screen debut - a hilarious holiday adventure filled with fur flying fun. A giclee (ji-CLAY) is an individually produced, high-resolution, high- fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork. Also, since many studio's now produce only digital art (For example PIXAR), there is no "original" that can be hung on a wall. Giclees solve that problem, while creating a whole new vibrant medium for art. Giclees can be printed on any number of media, from canvas to watercolor paper to transparent acetates. Giclees are superior to traditional lithography in several ways. The colors are brighter, last longer, and are so high-resolution that they are virtually continuous tone, rather than tiny dots. The range, or "gamut" of color for giclees is far beyond that of lithography, and details are crisper. | ||
