The Art of Terminator Salvation

"I'll Be Back"! No truer word spoken than by Arnold Schwarzenegger's character the T-800 in the legendary futuristic thriller that was The Terminator. Indeed, he has been back three times reprising the role of the relentless soldier cum good guy ( in films 2 and 3).

This time however, Terminator Salvation has been given the phoenix treatment by injecting fresh blood into one of the most successful movie franchises in the last 20 years. McG is the director, who will bring up-to-the minute special effects and stunts to wow the audience; Christian Bale AKA Batman is the lead role, promising to deliver gravitas to the John Conner character. From what Russell has seen so far (he went to a special short taster screening at the back end of last year) he reckons that it will exceed all expectations.

With the launch of the movie next week we are simultaneously launching the Terminator Salvation Limited Edition art programme: featuring the movies conceptual artist Martin Laing's visions of the landscapes and characters. His depictions are stunning and the quality of his designs meant that we had a very difficult choice in deciding which of his paintings we wouldn't use.

For all the techno-heads out there we have also released a series featuring the droids and vehicles that represent the earth's future robot dominating force.

Terminator has never had an art programme associated with the movie franchise so we are very excited at being able to release these editions. Click the link to see this sensational selection.

Martin Laing will be signing the limited editions on the 10th of June at The Movieum of London, County Hall.
